Well I had an interview Monday for Assistant Team Manager. It happens to be working for my old boss and he said I should apply for the position. I’m not having any success this quarter in sales and if I don’t make it, then I am put on a written action plan next quarter. While I am on a written action plan, I can’t apply for other positions within the company. So if I want to keep working for TD Ameritrade I need to find a new position by March 31.
I should hear something soon.
So if you find yourself reading a lot of sites for news or a lot of blogs to keep up with your friends lives, I highly recommend Google Reader. It is a RSS aggregator. What’s that you ask? Well RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is basically a way for a website, say Fox News, to let everybody know when they have updated their site with another story. So you get the address for the RSS feed and put it into your RSS Reader and it will automatically update for you any new story that Fox News puts out. This is especially useful if, like myself and my friend Nathan Dean, you have a blog or site that you visit that doesn’t update a whole lot. Instead of having to check each day only to find that there is no new update, Google Reader will add to your reading list automatically when there is n update. So check it out. It makes reading news, blogs, etc really easy and brings everything into one place for you to make your net time more efficient.
So apparently, I’m running for the Texas House of Representatives and the Statesman.com have given me their endorsement.
Well I’ve bought a house. Well I’m building a house actually. They’ve already started on it. You can view the floor plan if you like; I’ve got with Elevation ‘D’. I should move in middle of May. I am so excited, I can’t believe I’m actually doing this. I’ll post pictures as we go along.
